Where's the barn?

So we went out for a location shoot Tuesday to an old barn at the new Dawes' wetlands. I had used the spot for a few shoots last year and I loved the old whitewashed wood look.
Pulling into the parking lot this time was a little different. I start laughing in disbelief, the barn was gone. It would be one thing if a recent tornado lifted it up a ruined it, but there was a machinery right next to the perfectly level dirt pile where the barn used to be. I wish people would be more concerned with beauty and history than safety and pretty new things for a change. I love most everything old, weathered, rusty and full of character.
We set out to find a new spot, something I love to do anyway, and came across another good barn. It was next to a small church but was on someone's personal property. Laura received permission from a very surprised owner to use the barn. (they thought their barn was junk!)
Here is the Murphy's favorite image. I was able to get a rare smile out of Bryan. His mom was thrilled!

Just wanted to say thanks for making such a dreaded idea into such a great time. Your work was truly amazing, and could not have been any closer to the vision of how i wanted my pictures to turn out. I would recommend anyone to argyle for their senior pictures, thanks again!
